Meet the Owners (and Doers)
Graham Grusnis is a veteran preservation fitter and custom frame designer with thousands of projects completed. His favorite engagements are complex displays requiring as much ingenuity as art. Graham’s custom frame designs are among the most creative around. He is committed to creating custom solutions that will last for generations while continuing to hone his craft and deepen his education. His hobbies include travel, scuba diving (especially the expert dives on the Mesoamerican reef), tennis, and street photography.
Ian Grusnis has committed over a decade to THE ANTIQUARIUM. He is an expert in the analysis, identification, and understanding the value of the world’s rarest antique maps and engravings. Ian is highly skilled in all facets of quality custom frame design, preservation fitting, frame building, and has extensive operational leadership. Ian is excited to be a critical member of the Houston Custom Framing team, writing the next chapter in a decades long story. Ian loves travel (he enjoys Europe and has found a new passion for Asia), the study of history, and tricky runs while snowboarding and mountain biking.
Jeff Meuschke has designed elegant, creative, and stylish custom framing solutions for thousands of satisfied clients. His designs reside in fine interiors world wide, and his commitment to service is exceptional. He is highly skilled in all phases of the custom picture framing business and has extensive knowledge of the antique map and engraving category. Jeff’s passions include golf, the study of history, researching antique maps, travel (especially the finest golf locations), and his wife and two precious daughters.
Ed Grusnis is immensely proud of his three co-owners and is thrilled to see them lead the day to day operations of both THE ANTIQUARIUM and Houston Custom Framing. His passion for history, handcraft, and interior design lead him to found THE ANTIQUARIUM and Houston Custom Framing, in Houston, Texas. He and his brother Matthew also co-own RJ Raven Custom Doors and Windows in Grand Rapids, Michigan, his home town. RJ Raven is a purveyor of bespoke architectural doors, entryways, and windows.
